Sinopsis

This book provides an overview for tourist guides to have more comprehensive understanding and application of the English speaking knowledge and skills that are central to being an effective tourist guide. This book underscores the great need for tourist guides to master all aspects of technical English so that all communications with English speaking tourists are clear and understandable. This book also examines many aspects of being a more effective tourist guide from basic one-on-one communications to more complex interactions with larger groups of English-speaking tourists.

This book provides its readers with two important aspects. First, the book provides its readers with more than just English language acquisition exercises, applications, and techniques that are applicable in real life tourism experiences. Second, the book assists tourist guides in building increasing levels of self-confidence and language competence as Spanish speaking tourist guides improve their English language and tourist guide service skills to provide better services to their English-speaking tourists.
